99 Days Through the Bible

A Biblical Overview
This course consists of 15 one-hour recordings and an accompanying 100-page notebook. The class presents a clear overview of the Biblical story line, starting with the creation account and ending with the book of Revelation. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus as the messiah are understood in light of the history of Israel and the Mosaic sacrificial system. This course is excellent for any person or groups who have never seen how the entire Bible "hangs together". The notebook is easy to read, includes beautiful pictures, and has discussion questions at the end of each session. It is also an excellent evangelistic tool for seekers who are investigating the claims of Christ and Christianity.
"99 Days Through The Bible" is an outreach of the Evangelical Episcopal Church of St. Barnabas in Bremerton, WA. Through the class many have come to faith and/or returned to the church. The instructor, Barbara Buckham, originally developed the class for teenagers and taught it over a nine-month span. In 1997 she organized it into its present format and began teaching it to adults in a rented classroom. The interest from those who responded was very encouraging. She continued to refine the course until the sessions were digitally recorded before a live audience in the fall of 1998.
